REVOADA é o encontro entre a música e a poesia da canção popular brasileira e sedimenta a parceria de Leandro César com a cantora e compositora Irene Bertachini. Os compositores reuniram suas criações, rabiscos e esboços e traçaram um caminho aberto sobre a canção e a poesia para se apresentaram em duo. REVOADA significa um voo junto, a transformação do estático, a migração do sentir da saudade à melancolia do amor. O trabalho revela um variado ambiente musical, influenciado pela diversidade rítmica e cultural brasileira, herança da rica cultura popular afro-brasileira e indígena.

O embrião do disco REVOADA se formou em turnês realizadas em Portugal e Espanha em 2015. O álbum foi gravado em 2016 no Centro Cultural Musibéria, em Serpa, Portugal, com 12 faixas inéditas de Leandro, Irene e seus parceiros. O lançamento do disco aconteceu no ano seguinte, em Belo Horizonte, e segue com asas próprias.

REVOADA is a meeting between the music and the poetry of the Brazilian popular song. REVOADA consolidates the partnership of Leandro César with the singer and composer Irene Bertachini. The composers gathered their creations and sketches and traced an open path on song and poetry to perform as a duo. REVOADA means a birds’ flight, a flight together, the transformation of the static, the migration of feeling from longing to the melancholy of love. The work reveals a varied musical environment, influenced by the Brazilian rhythmic and cultural diversity, heritage of the rich Afro-Brazilian and indigenous popular culture.

The embryo of the album REVOADA was formed on tours held in Portugal and Spain in 2015. The album was recorded in 2016 at the Centro Cultural Musibéria, in Serpa, Portugal, with 12 new tracks composed by Leandro, Irene and their partners. The album was released in 2016 in Belo Horizonte and keeps flying with its own wings.
